And if there would be another war it would be fought with napalm and nuclear weapons, so all that hidin'-behind-that-gun-of-yours-courage would go to waste, accompanied by a nice sound effect, somehting like this: boom or fwooosh or just the sound of oozing gas. Oh and just to note: i know quite a few americans and yeah they are all intelligent and bllahblah and they are all AGAINST the war. But anyway there is no honor in killing stuff nowadays, earlier it showed tactical skill, courage to grab that sword and swing it and yeah swordskill, but they HAD to invent that freaking gunpowder. Think about it differently: if someone dies who is prepared to die, then he/she feels no regret, but what about their parents..?

You, by yourself, won't make a change. You kill. Is that a change? You kill 10 humans. Is that a change? You kill a 100 humans. Is that a change? No, it's still just temporary. And the part, where you said, that "something that makes this goddamned world better"...Now that's just sad and twisted. Killing is good for this hellhole, huh? And why would you be better then any terrorist?

Try to examine the other opinion too. If for example German or British soldiers came here would you be happy? Wouldn't you ask 'what the hell they are doing here?' Talking about war, it's reasons and sense is ok but not swearing at each other. Stop that, please. Well, many people on this forum can know my opinion about war, my avatar represents it as well. Just some short sentences: I think war just haven't got a sense except in that case when a country have been attacked. Defense is important of course. But I can't tolerate the other part who started the war. And nowadays war usually started by political leaders and many times people of tha war-starting country don't want that. Starting a war is about getting more and more while maybe the country has enough to keep it's people. (Just look at WW2.) Sometimes it's 'legalized' with some twisted ideology. But war remains what it is: killing people because of greed. Well, maybe I'm too soft-hearted or coward but I just couldn't kill somebody. Not in the name of any ideology nor if my life is in danger. For my family...maybe. I don't know, I've never tried it. :D And I wouldn't. Well, it's not so short as I wanted. :D About airsoft: I don't think it's bad. It's just a hobby. Someone 'playes' with swords (like tradition keepers and so) someone with guns. That's a kind of sport. Ps.: My signature is actual too. :P

I'm in a waterpolo team and in summer, during one month, 2-3 tranings per day it sucks and as i imagine its not as hard as to be a marine. I think you cant imagine the endurance that you must have to get in the US Army. [sorry my english is not so good but i try to do my best :rolleyes: ]

I can imagine, cause last summer I tried those things: I ran hours, I slept 4-5 hours per a day, I did excersises, I did many things they do at the booth camp, and hell...I was half-dead after 3 days. So I started to train harder, and I think I'm still weak, but I keep workin on it, and I wont give up... I know how hard it is...I know all the things they do at booth camp, and I know I can't do many things from them, but I'm training for this, so maybe I could do those things one day, and I'll be good enough to be one of them.
