Lloth Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 It can't be true. Yes, it can. Haven't you heard about the typical cool English temper and the conservatism of English people? They can't throw out a wrong chair, if it's the family's heritage from their grandparanets or somebody else. They respect their old customs and things and they cannot throw them away. Sometimes it's angering. Very much.

It's murder...But what could I do if I have 15 English-lessons on a week? I always bore on English-lessons, coz we always repeat that we learnt 1-2 year(s) ago...Present Perfect, Past Perfect, Present Continous, Past Continous, Present Simple, Past Simple...I can use these things very well and I'd like to learn new things, not only repeat... But I think you have learnt more in English in the last 2,5 mounths than I have learnt in German in the last 2,5 mounths...and so I started to learn German in September, but I have got 4 lessons on a week...
orpheus Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 I have 7 English lesson on a weak, and four German lesson, three Slovak lesson The English is a bit horrible, because my teacher is unintelligent. She is cruel and she smiles a lot.

When I was 11 I had a little bit strange Englishteachress: she were always watching the clock and maybe she was more boring than us on the lessons
orpheus Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 I live in Slovakia, and I am studing in Tornala. So our national language is Slovak language, we have to learn it. (But I have Hungarian nationality) We have to do final examination from it, from Slovak Gramar and Slovak Literatura, it is very boring...

Well, you can speak English pretty well, I say. I always bore on English-lessons, coz we always repeat that we learnt 1-2 year(s) ago...Present Perfect, Past Perfect, Present Continous, Past Continous, Present Simple, Past Simple...I can use these things very well and I'd like to learn new things, not only repeat... Yes, that was the same with me when I learnt English. You have to accept it, beacuse this is the hunagiran english teaching. She is cruel and she smiles a lot. Oh, just as my hungarian grammar teacher! She smiles always. She smiles whrn she gives youthe worst marks. She smiles when she is arguing with you. It's really annoying. We call her 'the smiling killer'.
zoleeb1990 Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 We call her 'the smiling killer'. some of my classmates call their chemistry-teacher similar, but he is "baby-faced killer" so why do I say "their chemistry-teacher"? coz my class is separated to 2 groups on the most part of the lessons...
orpheus Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 the smileing killer - its good, we will call she so
Lloth Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 so why do I say "their chemistry-teacher"? coz my class is separated to 2 groups on the most part of the lessons... That was the same for mw too in calsses 5-8. Than, the groups joined each other.

orpheus Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Oh yes, Dubovsky Laszlo, alias Dubcsek, he is a bit impostor...
Lpat Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Yes, it can. Haven't you heard about the typical cool English temper and the conservatism of English people? Sometimes it's angering. Very much. hihi I think you are not quite right! That's okey that they like old things. For example their pubs and houses look old. They like being different as well: The EU wanted to change the good old red double-deckers' colour into the colour of the company which run them! The british protested so the buses remained red! The system of measurment(imperial instead of metric system, farenheit instead of celsius) BUT there are lot of stereotypes which are not true for the british! Afternoon tea(TEA-time) i one of them! I was in britain twice and can tell you that the british do not drink tea in the afternoon(ok somtimes maybe but not in a way that it must be done!) another: Lots of us think that british like queving(sorban állni), but they hate as other normal people do! etc. etc. I could tell you more but I am getting tired! A question: Where do you want to go on Loth? I mean where do you want to study?Which university?

Lloth Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 another: Lots of us think that british like queving(sorban állni), but they hate as other normal people do! etc. etc. I could tell you more but I am getting tired! I Haven't heard it yet. I think it is stupid. I think there aren't any people who like queuing. A question: Where do you want to go on Loth? I mean where do you want to study?Which university? To the University of Miskolc ot the ELTE or - if I won't write very good >érettségi< to the University of Debrecen. (To 'English-Communication' I have to reach only 114 points.)
TheProGamer Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 érettség = GCSE - General Certificate of Secondary Education
Lloth Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 érettség = GCSE - General Certificate of Secondary Education Oh, thank you! I was thinking a lot of how to say it.
zoleeb1990 Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 I Haven't heard it yet. I think it is stupid. I think there aren't any people who like queuing. To the University of Miskolc ot the ELTE or - if I won't write very good >érettségi< to the University of Debrecen. (To 'English-Communication' I have to reach only 114 points.) and what's the maximum that you can reach? "GCSE - General Certificate of Secondary Education"...I have already know just one expression that means this thing...but I think this is more better than "scool-leaving exam" so thanks, TheProGamer
Lloth Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 and what's the maximum that you can reach? Well, 134 points what I can reach. Because I"ll do 2 higher level exams, and if I can write it without mistakes, I can have 120 poitns + 2X7 becuse I did higher level not medium level. But the absolutely maximum points are 144, but if you want to reach it you have to have 2 high level (felsõfokú) language exams, 2 higher level GCSE...so that"s almost impossible.
TheProGamer Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 and what's the maximum that you can reach? "GCSE - General Certificate of Secondary Education"...I have already know just one expression that means this thing...but I think this is more better than "scool-leaving exam" so thanks, TheProGamer School leaving exam. Very creative. My friend creates words like that, for example: együttérzõ - together feeler; lábtörlõ - foot/feet eraser; napvilág - sunworld etc.
Calypsol Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 School leaving exam. Very creative. My friend creates words like that, for example: együttérzõ - together feeler; lábtörlõ - foot/feet eraser; napvilág - sunworld etc. long time ago I've heard that: anyajegy = mother ticket XP
TheProGamer Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 long time ago I've heard that: anyajegy = mother ticket XP Yes I know that one, it's a classical.
Tweeny Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 long time ago I've heard that: anyajegy = mother ticket XP Ohh, yeahh... And "anyanyelv" is Mother tongue.... I mean, it's not "mother language"... So, you know... I'm sorry, my English is a bit strange... But, this is a very good topic...
