Lloth Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 Yes, in my opinion, English is becoming some kind of 'common language'. These times if you want to speak to a foreigner, you try it in English first. But we must be aware because we have mother language and that isn't English. So in Hungary you should speak Hungarian, correctly. I hate those who use English words in their speech when it isn't neccesarly. Of course, except topics like this.
zoleeb1990 Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 i'm sorry we aren't anger with you (I hope the last sentence is correct, cuz I heared similar in a Metallica track called St. Anger ) I think you'll have enough time to improve yourself in English... The larger problem was that somebody came in and said **** and this child thought that he had learnt so much and he had been so extraordinary cuz he had known what **** had meant...

-Dan- Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Swearing is not allowed in this forum...not even in english, arabic or whatever... Thanks for understanding I haven't sweared in the forum, yet. I promise, I'm not gonna start it. I've just quoted from an other member's sentence. But if it meant problem, I'm sorry.

Lloth Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 I met you so long time ago...so what happened to you? why do I see your name seldom in the Culture topic or anywhere? Well, in the last 3 weeks I wrote a lot of tests in the school and I was tired to read all the topics and write my opinion. But this week-end I'll have some time. Oh, and I'm really happy so somebody opened a "Vampires" topic. I love them. What about you?

But this week-end I'll have some time. Oh, and I'm really happy so somebody opened a "Vampires" topic. I love them. What about you? I'm not interested in vampires, so it isn't my world In this year I write little and/or big tests every day...and so it isn't an ordinary thing to me, and I hate it...Had you got similar problems in class 9? Aren't you 18? I think I had read similar in another topic... So where did you write tests in the last 3 weeks? At the University?

So, I'll have some >nice< exams in May (érettségi..). In the 9th class I had so little to do if I compare that with this year. But of course when I was 15, I thought 'it can't be worse...'. Well, it can, believe me.
Guest Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Hy all! This topic is funny, but good idea.Congratulations. What's up?

Lloth Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 T-firebat: There's nothing wrong in your sentences. I think you can writw in English pretty well, so come and talk with us. Welll...we need some interesting topic...have you heard about English Christmas? It isn't only 3 days as in Hungary but 2 weeks. And they don't open their presents on 24th December, only on 25th. They call it 'Boxin' day'. Oh, and there's a superstition about mistletoe (fagyöngy): if you stand under that during theese 2 weeks with a girl/boy (opposite sex) you will fell in love with him/her and he/she too with you. Try it.

It happened in World War 2...The German soldiers in the mountains defended their territory down between two mountains, where the Polish soldiers wanted to go through with British soldiers...but the German soldiers didn't want let it to them, so they shooted them...and once a British soldier said: "It's tea-time...", so they stopped the team to drink tea, and they didn't care about the Germans' shots... so that's the reason why my Germanteacher don't like English people...
