I was one of their concert which was in Gyõr 3 weeks ago with my girlfriend. it was my first live experience about them. my girlfriend almost a fanatic, but I like only 6 songs from them. They weren't bad but I found them less enthusiastic.
Lloth Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 And what are the 6 songs you like? Oh, and it was the first time I heard them live too.

The atmosphere was really wonderful. I love the Edda songs. What about you? I listened a song of Edda last week in Mad Dog "Pub", I liked it, so I don't know why did my trumpet-teacher say that Edda was terrible... but, hey, I know... cuz he is fucking stupid, my opinion is proved... one time he poured cold water through my trumpet, and it became so wrong... and coz of it I'm madly angry with him but fortunatelly I don't go to trumpet-lessons... by the way I respect Edda, but I prefer Omega than Edda... my favourite song is "Gyöngyhajú lány" it's fantastic... and in the topic of "classic rock" I read that Scorpions asked Omega to let them to make a similar song called White Dove...

Well, I met some people who said 'I don't like Edda' but I haven't met anybody who said 'Edda is terrible'. I think you can like them, or don't like them but have to admit that Attila Pataki has a good voice, and the other members of the group are very talented, they can play their instruments wonderfully. And I like their lyrics very much as well, they write really varied songs. Oh, and I like Omega too...my parents love them so I heard their songs a lot. Pretty good music, better than most of the modern groups. Hm, have you heard the rock opera Stephen the king? If you haven't, listen to it. It's composed and the lyrics were write by Levente Szörényi and János Bródy. They are the ex-members of Omega and Illés.

pH03N1X Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 Well, I prefer metal to old rock! You can see my favourite ones in my signature, maybe there's someone who likes one of these!
Lloth Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 I like NIN. Usually I don't like electronical music, but NIN isn't just electronical nad...and it's pretty good. Oh, and I think Trent Reznor is an idiot. (And this is a positive word in this case. )

I've heard Stephen the king, on the 20th of August (in 2005) I listened the performance in the company of my family; I think the voice of Koppány (I don't know the name of the actor) was the best, I loved it
Lloth Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 In the original version, Gyula Vikidál sings Koppány, but I don't know who is it in the new one...
