zoleeb1990 Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 Yesterday I was in the Cinema Artist. I watched "Hotel Rwanda". It happened in the civilian war in Rwanda in 1994. It's a true story, with true charactors in the film!!! In the begining the hutus raised up against the tutsis. The Belgian explorers collected people in Rwanda into these two category, and it's up to appearel. And the tutsis received the power from the Belgians. So this was the reason, why hutus raised up. And then, they started to kill every tutsi men, women and children. It was terrible. And there was a rich hotel manager and his family, who want peace, but they could not hide, the civilian war and the military found them. And they last hope was the United Nations' military and then they could help on them, and they left Rwanda, and now, they live in Belgium. This is a very good film, so watch it!

My opinion is that a war (be it civil,world or anything else) shows what we are. We can't live to know that some other country or even town is better than us. There have always been and I think as long as the world exist there will be people who can't keep peace with other people. Wars,Terroractions etc. will exist as long as we can't learn to be in peace with our kind. I think this is the worst thing in this contiusly upgrading world is that no matter what we do, no matter what we want the world still lives in hatred. If we ever go to another planet we will bring there the ,,virus" of wars. This I think is not a good idea to ignore!

Yesterday I read critics about the film, and I read that the same thing is happening in 3-5 African countries in the present days, and nobody do anything... So the millions of people in Africa need help, and the greatest powers like USA or England don't care about it, coz they are interested only in oil ...
