Most vásároltam 3000-ért használtan.

miro DC20-Driver-Installation in Win2000 and XP.

(please print this text)

Files succesfull copied.

After reading of this text close this text and click ok.

Please reboot than.

Open device manager (link in miroDC20-programgroup)

and click on "unknown Multimedia Video Device".

Click to install driver new and let Windows detect the driver automaticaly.

After detecting, accept installation (the driver is not Microsoft certified!)

and reboot.

If the driver is correct installed, run DC20-Control from DC20-program-group.

Than you can start with VIDCON.

Please start first miroExpert for testing datarate of harddisc and save settings.

Make capture settings and capture.

DC20 support no Overlay, so you have only Preview, but the captured video is ok.

Capture in Premiere:

Start a userdefined Project.

Select VfW and in codec settings the miro DC20 MJPG-Codec.

Than make the capture-card settings like framerate (25 PAL, 29 NTSC), resolution and datarte.

Than you are able to capture in Premiere.

Known errors and help:

You will see a message in device manager memory ressource "xxxxxx-xxxxxx not avaialble"

This is normal and ok.

The message must be shown if the card will work correct.

If you have a Preview Window, but during capture you get the message "vertical sync not found"

or the computer freeze after capture start, the DC20 has not a real or own IRQ.

Most the devicemanager is lying about IRQ.

Download AIDA32 from http://www.mirosupport.de/add/aida32_3942.zip and see the exact IRQ of DC20.

The IRQ must be real from 5 to 15, best IRQ is 10 (virtual 0A etc. will not work.).

First try to use another PCI-slot and check with AIDA32

If this will not help disable ACPI in Mainboardbios (most in section power management)

and install Windows again without ACPI.

Important:

!You can not disable ACPI on a previous installed Windows, Windows must be installed complete new after disable ACPI!

If you get error 37 in device manager, possibly miro DC20 is not compatible with your mainbaord in Win2000/XP in this time.

Most mainboards with Nforce (1/2) or Intel 8xx-Chipsets will not work.

Working mainboards have a AMD,VIA or SiS-chipset.
